I'm surrounded by wedding decorations

I have finished the centerpieces, corsages and boutonniers, redid the toss bouquet and redid the big vase arrangement. The picture of the vase arrangement is actually the back. Thursday I get the fresh roses for the bouquets and Saturday is the big day. Good Luck to the bride and groom.

It's been a while .....

Janice and I went to Gotta Scrap on Friday to crop and I bought me a birthday present with some help from Janice and my daughter, Carrie. (They are just the best) I have seen this scrapbook luggage before but never for sale; just as demo. Well Gotta Scrap had one left and I purchased it for 1/2 price and no tax. Janice purchased a gift certificate for me and so did Carrie (via telephone) and so my purchase was really affordable. Another bit of great news and a pat on the back for Gotta Scrap, they punched my card for my purchase and the gift cards I used and I got $10.00 of extra merchandise free. I am going back there but right now I am broke. If you look closely, it has four+ separate pieces. The large rolling tote, a smaller hand bag and a smaller sectioned bag plus a 12 x 12 container for paper or a page layout AND a teeny tiny little luggage just for business cards. (Isn't that special.) I just love it..... Thank you Carrie and Janice.

Getting ready for college

I cleaned up the scrapbook room to give me a little room to study. Classes start on 08/24. Here are a few pics of my clean scrapbook room. You may never see it clean again.

Toss bouquet

Today I worked on the silk bouquet for the bride to use in her portrait and to toss at the wedding. I won't make the actual fresh bouquet until the day before the wedding and won't put it on the blog until after the wedding. Looks like I need to tidy up the ends of those ribbons.

upcoming wedding. I made 8 and think they turned out pretty well. I displayed the back to show how the workings of the corsage should protect the wearers outfit.
