Bo Bunny Family Book

When Bo Bunny announced their search
for a design team, I went right out and
bought some products (like I didn't already
have a lot of Bo Bunny products) and
planned to make something extraordinarily beautiful so theywould be overwhelmed and select me as one of their design team members.

Well guess what, things just never work out
like you plan. Since the design team announcement, I have been very busy and
the deadline for submissions grew closer
and closer until it was too late for me to enter
the contest.

Alas, another chance for the world to recognize
me as the great designer I am, has passed me by :(

Maybe I just don't want to be a design team
member or am afraid of rejection, I don't know.
I do know that the contest did spur me on to create this family album using a chocolate Bo Bunny chipboard album and the Abbey Road
line of paper and embellishments. I think the album is more than enough reward for me
since I love making albums about my wonder family.

Thanks for taking a minute to see what I made. Please leave a comment; I love hearing from you.

Ladybug Scrappers Flip Book

I finally finished the Ladybug Scrappers Flip Book for Hannah. I hope you like it and will leave a comment. I might make a flip book for the rest of the grandchildren. I know the younger ones will like it and the older ones will have a nice book about their grandmother and her friends.

I just finished making these bridal shoes. Sorry the picture is so dark but it is late and I'm tired.
I am having a wedding shower tomorrow and I made this centerpiece for the table. The wedding colors are red and white (could you guess). I am going to look for some hershey kisses to go in the glasses.

Here is a picture of our family at a wedding. Our daughter-in-law Christy was the maid of honor (the bride was her sister, Laura) and our grandson, Christopher was an usher.

Left to right is our son, Chris; Christy; Bronwyn; Nonnie; Christopher and Papa Ronnie.

Here is the picture of the adorable young man who would not let me sleep in his sleeping bag. The first night we were in Utah he fell asleep in the bed with Dorothy and Bob. I told him the next morning that I wanted to sleep in his sleeping bag if he was not going to use it. He was adamant that I could not sleep in his sleeping bag, no how, no way, never. He was very protective of his sleeping bag after that and checked often to make sure Nonnie had not sneeked into his sleeping bag when he was not looking. He was a great traveler and we had a good time sightseeing with him, Bob and Dorothy.

Now for the announcement of the RAK winner. Since only three people posted to the blog, I have prizes for all. No need to send me your addresses, I know all of you and will bring your prizes to the meeting next Tuesday.

Piggy Tales Flip Book for Hannah

Ok, I said I wanted to try and keep my blog current so here I go. My granddaughter, Hannah loves to read and when I received the June Piggy Tales kit, I had an immediate inspiration. I am making a flip book for her and plan to write a simple story about the Ladybug Scrappers to put in it. Take a look and let me know what you think. I will update as I work on it.

Vacation pictures

Ron and I just returned from vacation in Colorado and Utah. The weather was fantastic and we saw some beautiful countryside. We also met up with Bob and Dorothy in Utah and visited the StampIn Up headquarters and the Morman Tabernacle. Unfortunately, we did not get to hear the choir; they were scheduled to perform the next day. Hear are some pics from our trip.
