Recently I participated in the July and August Challenge at The Crafty Scrapper. The challenges are fun and help me to Think Outside of the Box. The Time Flies book was my July entry and includes pictures of my children and me in 1986 when we flew to Michigan to visit my sister. My sister and I, with our combined 5 children piles up in her car and went to Canada to see Niagra Falls and Canada's Wonderland. Many years later, I took my grown children back to Michigan (those pictures are included) and in 2001 I took two of my grandchildren with me to visit Michigan and Canada. For me, this book holds some great memories.

The Red and White polka dot box and chipboard book was my entry in the August Challenge entitled Celebrating Summer. It includes pictures of my grandchildren swimming, fishing, at the beach and also some pictures of a Luau we went to with our friends.

The challenge for this month is New Beginnings and I am still thinking about it.

Here we are at Great American Scrapbook Convention. We had such a good time even though our room at the hotel was HOT. We took 8 classes and still had time to get out on the convention floor and shop a little.

We took a class called Convention Memories (green shirts) and also a class called Friends Forever Album sponsored by Piggy Tales (black shirts). I invited my daughter-in-law, Christy and she had a blast.
